ALL CLEAR!

Do you ever find yourself letting your imagination get the best of you?

Hope this reaches you and provides a powerup.

All clear! And just like that I could breathe. ❤️powerup!

It’s not so much that I could breathe again, but more like I could stop overthinking. Seems like overthinking is harder to shake than one might think. If you’re an overthinker, like me, you understand what I’m talking about. If you’re not, you’re just better at hiding it or controlling your awareness. Nothing is wrong either way. Afterall, this is what it’s like being a human.

We overthink because we are all imagination machines. Yes, even you, the ones who say, “I don’t have a creative bone in my body!” You do, you just choose a different way to apply the term “creative”. ❤️powerup!

We make up stories because this is part of our history. It is so ingrained in our DNA that we will borrow from other stories to conclude the story we are trying to tell ourselves.

Kind of crazy when you think about it. We will make up a story that causes us stress because we are so fixated on completing the loop. And on top of it, it’s usually a fear based story, far from love, and not on a quest to make us our hero.

What I’ve learned about myself is I don’t like the lead up to the MRIs. This is also something I need to get used to because they will be happening every four weeks. Why don’t I like them? I have too big of an imagination. I am so aware of the upcoming MRI that I create a narrative that is fear based and causes me stress.

Does this do me any good? NO!

Why do I do it?

Because just like how you make up all the reasons why you won’t do the thing you want to do. What, you don’t? Ha! Don’t lie to yourself. You know as well as I do, your thoughts start out positive, but quickly you talk yourself out of it and decide to hold off until tomorrow.

Will tomorrow really come? Maybe, but maybe not.

Perhaps, my little trick that I do as soon as I am clipped into the MRI will help. I take a really deep breath. I close my eyes and tell myself something I avoided for a long time. “I love you. You’re safe. You’re healed. You’re whole.” And just like that, I can breathe again.

So another one down and still all clear. You got this, friend!

Live More. Love More. Wonder More!

Thank you for the continued good vibes! ❤️🙏❤️

Much love.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to Brainspirations! In July 2021, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and that was the birth of Brainspirations. My mission is simple: using the characters Corky and JayJay I hope to wake you up to your life. I share my revelations during my own awakening in hopes they provide you with the power-ups needed to live, love, and wonder more! If you find them beneficial, please share with others!

Hey, grammar police! I have lots of books out, but I also have editors. Grammar has been a struggle for me as long as I can remember. In fact, it stopped me from writing for a long time. Even though I’m working on it, grammar is still a huge struggle. I guess what I’m saying is—if you see mistakes, please look past my mistakes and see the good.I’m trying to do the same, and I appreciate your help!

Let the posts
