Not all days are perfect, but there’s a lot of good in everyday, if you choose to see it. ❤️ power-up!
Perfection doesn’t exist, period, end of story! What does exist is our constant definition of what we think perfection looks like. What we need to see is the beauty in the imperfections of our journey. The effort you made, advances, lessons, and defeats could ultimately lead you to connecting to your soul and in-line with love. reality power-up!
“Practice makes perfect is a lie. Practice prepares you for all the imperfect things that will happen in your life!” when I wrote that in my journal, one day, it hit me like a ton of bricks.
I’ve spent so much time seeking perfection I’ve lost a million lessons along the way and ultimately stole a lot of joy from my life. That’s a ❤️ power-up!
Achieving the perfect “moment” isn’t where the joy is. When I finished my first book which for me was, at least in my head, perfection. I didn’t think about how amazing it was to hold the book, the joy of saving the files for the final time, or the other number of things you might think. When I achieved my “perfection” it was all the times I doubted myself, thought I couldn’t write a book, or the other people who told me it would never happen, and the pushes I made through miles of roadblocks—the imperfections. It was all the imperfections where I found love, it changed my life, it inspired me, and made me want to inspire others. I didn’t make perfection, I made good enough! ❤️ power-up!
Amazing how the thing I wanted to avoid became the catalyst for my greatest joys. reality power-up!
I can’t help but wonder if this of mine is just waking me up to the beauty in it’s imperfections. I want to use this to inspire others, create stories, learn and grow, and conquer challenges.
I will make this my mission. Perfect will never happen, but I will chose to find beauty in the imperfections. I will make love my home and share what I’m learning. What could you do today to allow your imperfections shine and see the beauty and love in them?
It just may be the thing that creates the biggest joys in your life. ❤️ power-up!
