THANKFULNESS

What can we do to practice thankfulness? And are you able to see how luck you really are?

Hope this reaches you and provides a powerup.

There’s so many things to be thankful for, far too much to reserve for just one day, but it’s a start. ❤️powerup!

I am thankful to be here, to breathe, to see the rain running down the window, to feel, and to see life through a clear lens. Never in a million years do I think I would be grateful for getting a brain tumor, but oddly, I am thankful for it. I’m not sure I would have found the real me. You have got to be thankful for that, right? Not that it’s welcome back in my life. This damn thing can stay away forever!

Today I thought it would be fun to share some ideas of thankfulness. For context, I haven’t asked “why me?” aside from the first day, and I would never wish this on someone else. One thing I have done a lot of is paying attention. I pay attention to faces, body language, words, and interactions of others. One thing I’ve noticed is we have a lot of pain in our world. I know, duh!

It leaves lots of questions on the table, like:

What would happen if we stopped and noticed how lucky we are to be alive? This world will never be perfect, and it will suck a lot, but how amazing it is that the sun comes up each morning? When was the last time you saw it? That’s something to be thankful for. ❤️powerup!

What would happen if we stopped judging others because they don’t fit into your system? Nothing is always going to go your way. And those who stoop to bad-mouthing others, well, they are adding what to your life? Nothing? Good, then they don’t need to be part of your world. Isn’t that something to be thankful for?

I would argue that everything “bad” in your life is something to be thankful for. It’s just masked by some fear, but under all that is love. After all, you’re reading this and I get to write this. That’s amazing! I love my life. I love me. I even love you, too. Never would have said any of this prior to July 12th and truly meant it with my whole heart.

Let’s try an experiment.

Today, take a moment, sit up.

Close your eyes.

Take a breath.

Listen to the sounds.

Smell the smells.

Be in the moment.

This is your life, and it’s amazing you’re part of it. That’s something to be thankful for!

Live More. Love More. Wonder More!

Thank you for the continued good vibes! ❤️🙏❤️

Much love.
