❤️ Hope this reaches YOU, and provides the power-up needed.

🧠 quick update: Officially past one week of treatment (8 days of chemo, 6 radiation) blood work was good today. I’m feeling strong. I’m healing. I’m super grateful.

What am I learning?

If there’s one phrase that drives me bonkers is, “I can’t.” If you’re with me give me a power-up! If not, give me a second to explain, and maybe you will be converted.

I spent most of my adult life earning a PHD in self doubt. I used, and loved using, “I can’t!” Until I realized all my ‘I cant’s’ were killing all my ‘I dids’. Maybe read that again then pause. Think about what that really means, does this apply to you?

It’s so easy to say “I can’t” versus taking a chance, being vulnerable, maybe failing, or being your own person. Because that stuff is scary! ❤️ power-up!

In a lot of ways, converting a ‘can’t’ to a ‘did’ can feel like your walking down the street naked, exposing yourself to world. Let the judging begin! And they will judge, don’t fool yourself, but they’re judging ‘cause they don’t have the guts to venture out into the unknown. ❤️ power-up!

Listen up! There’s always a first! Someone before you, or maybe it has to be you, has to break the “norm”. The inventor of the a skateboard never imagined people would be flying 25 plus ft in the air with only a board, trucks, and wheels to catch them. Someone said, “screw this!” and turned that ‘can’t’ into a ‘I did’. Now look, it’s a normal thing to see at any X Games—that’s amazing! ❤️ power-up!

Whatever it is you think you can’t do, you’re right! You can’t, because you’re too busy making excuses, blaming others, listening to other’s opinions, and not being the hero of your story. ❤️ power-up!

Have you had enough yet? What will it take to wake you up to your life? No one is going to do it for you. So here’s a suggestion: Stand up tall. Put your feet on the ground, step forward with purpose, hold a vision of what YOU want, make moves that take you towards it. This isn’t a race, be patient, you will fall, crap will happen, but keep moving! ❤️ power-up!

I can’t wait to hear about what you ‘did’, and not what you ‘can’t’. You’re better than that and deserve more!

Much love and thank you for the continued good vibes! ❤️

Live More. Love More. Wonder More!

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to Brainspirations! In July 2021, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and that was the birth of Brainspirations. My mission is simple: using the characters Corky and JayJay I hope to wake you up to your life. I share my revelations during my own awakening in hopes they provide you with the power-ups needed to live, love, and wonder more! If you find them beneficial, please share with others!

Hey, grammar police! I have lots of books out, but I also have editors. Grammar has been a struggle for me as long as I can remember. In fact, it stopped me from writing for a long time. Even though I’m working on it, grammar is still a huge struggle. I guess what I’m saying is—if you see mistakes, please look past my mistakes and see the good.I’m trying to do the same, and I appreciate your help!

Let the posts
come to you.
